George W Nester, CM, AICP
George Nester is a retired manager, planner, contractor and consultant with the distinct background of having been a former city, county and town manager. He is supported by 40 years of successful local government and consulting experience. George welcomes the challenge of helping local governments gain a realistic perspective on issues and then helping the community chart an appropriate course of action. He obtained professional manager (CM) credentials from the Institute of Certified Professional Managers. He also earned the prestigious professional planner (AICP) certification issued by the American Institute of Certified Planners. CTG&B holds a Virginia Class A Building Contractor's License. George's experience assures your projects are properly planned, implemented, then completed on time and within budget.

George has been recognized as an expert witness in Virginia Courts on issues involving government structure and zoning. He has that rare ability to implement change with a minimum of controversy. This type of experience assures that limited resources are applied to solving problems and not wasted on unnecessary conflict resolution. George holds a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences Degree from Virginia Tech and a Master of Science Degree from LaSalle University.
